  • November 19, 2015

As part of its commitment to support local communities and initiatives, Kirby has made a pledge to sponsor the Oranmore Maree GAA Club Coaching in Schools programme.

The programme encourages young club coaches, under the guidance of senior club coaches, to assist local primary schools with their promotion of Gaelic games through weekly coaching sessions.

Commenting on the sponsorship, club Chairman, Gerry Rabbitt said: ‘Having Kirby on board is a crucial step in the implementation of the programme and without them, this would not be possible.’

‘The club would like to publically thank them.  The three year commitment to this programme is another step for the club that is going in the right direction’ continued Rabbitt.

Speaking at the launch of the programme, Mark Flanagan, Kirby Group Operations Director, said: ‘We are delighted to support this fantastic initiative.  These are exciting times for this club and we are proud to be a part of it.’
