Kirby team raise money for Chestnut Tree House

  • July 8, 2016

A team of Kirby employees from our UK offices, with support from the company, raised £2,000 for Chestnut Tree House, a children’s hospice based in the UK.

The team ran the 10K run at the Brighton marathon, which took place earlier this year, in an effort to raise some much needed funds for the children’s hospice.  The money raised will go towards providing hospice care services and community support for children with life-shortening illnesses.

Chestnut Tree House is the children’s hospice for East and West Sussex and South East Hampshire in the UK and cares for 300 children and young adults from 0-19 years of age with progressive life-shortening conditions.

A huge well done to each of the employees who ran the race for such a worthy cause.

Supporting local communities and initiatives is very important at Kirby with the company and its employees supporting a significant number of charities and community initiatives each year.
