Our in-house transmission and distribution team can support a project from application stage through to design, procurement, construction and subsequent grid connection. Our primary work with Scottish Power centres on construction and pre-commissioning activity. Projects are varied in nature but include:

  • Control and protection modifications to existing schemes
  • Replacement/decommissioning/installation of electrical equipment in close proximity to live equipment
  • HV cabling, termination and testing
  • Supply and installation of new control, SCS and protection cabinets including all associated cabling and terminations
  • General services within the station including 110V DC batteries and chargers, 10kV/400V house supply transformer, distribution boards and associated cabling
  • Testing and pre-commissioning
  • Commissioning and declaration of fitness
