Kirby is proud to announce a new three-year partnership with University of Limerick GAA, making Kirby Group Engineering the main sponsor across all four codes: hurling, camogie, football, and ladies’ football.
The sponsorship will empower current and future players to achieve their highest potential and represents Kirby’s commitment to developing talent.
Speaking about the announcement, Jason Coffey, UL GAA Development Manager, stated: This partnership with Kirby marks an important step forward for UL GAA. Their support will provide us with the resources to elevate our teams and athletes to new heights. It will also allow us to continue growing the club and ensure that we can provide a team for all levels within UL GAA. We’re excited to build on our strong foundation and look forward to what we can accomplish together over the next three years.”
Mikey Ryan, Director of Operations at Kirby, said: “This is an important year for Kirby as it marks 60 years since its foundation in Limerick in 1964. Partnering with the GAA teams at UL provides a timely opportunity to reinforce our connection to the region and its sporting culture. Like these players, we know we achieve nothing without teamwork and we’re looking forward to seeing the teams in action in the months ahead. On behalf of Kirby Group Engineering, I’d like to wish them the very best”.
The partnership marks an exciting new chapter for UL GAA and the bright future ahead for their 25 teams and 1,315 club members.
