PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Kirby was responsible for the mechanical and electrical installation of a new 6.8MW data centre facility in Dublin. The 7,250m² project comprised of six nr. data halls over two floors and a three level administration area.
The project was fully coordinated through the implementation of BIM which enabled Kirby to successfully deliver the project safely and on time. The project featured congested electrical plant areas which required very close co-ordination between the team.

MV panels, 2 nr. 11MvA Traffos, 2 nr. AHU, 2 nr. Air Cooled Chillers, 2 nr. Side Stream Filters, RO Plant, Booster and Circulating Pumps, Heat Pump and Buffer Vessels.
The total project meterage consisted of 6,000m of cable, 21,000m of containment, 600 instruments and loops, 300 I/O points, 7,500m of pipework and 6,000m² of ductwork.
