He also leads projects for key customers. Jimmy has been awarded a Master of Business Degree from University College Cork and a Master of Science Degree from Dublin Institute of Technology.

Mark is Chief Executive Officer with overall responsibility for the performance of the company through the formulation and implementation of strategy and continuously building an effective executive management team. Mark has previously held positions in project and contracts management, as well as his most recent role as Group Managing Director, where he was responsible for company performance across all business units and regions.

Henry is Group Operations Director / CEO – Designate, with overall responsibility for operations across all business units and regions. Working closely with the Chief Executive Officer, Henry is centrally involved in the direction of company operations to achieve client satisfaction and overall team performance. He focuses on understanding our clients’ needs and creating sustainable partnerships, which lead to successful project delivery in terms of safety, quality, budget and timeline. Henry has extensive engineering and project management experience across different sectors including Life Sciences, Data Centres and Industrial Manufacturing.

Donal is Group Finance Director, responsible for the company’s financial management and financial strategic planning, ensuring adequate systems, controls and risk management procedures are in place. Donal holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree and Higher Diploma in Computer Science from UCC and a Diploma in Management from the Irish Management Institute.

Conor is Group Commercial Director / CCO – Designate, with overall responsibility for Commercial, Contracts & Legal Operations and Strategy. Living the Kirby Values, he ensures Kirby execute commercial operations in a transparent, timely and processed manner, while building and maintaining sustainable partnerships. Conor’s experience and solution focused risk management ranges across different sectors including Data Centres, Life Sciences, Semi-Conductor, Industrial Manufacturing and Power & Renewables. Conor has been awarded a PG Diploma in Construction Law and a BSc in Quantity Surveying.

Aidan has overall responsibility for business development activities and driving sales across Ireland, UK and Mainland Europe. Working closely with the Group Managing Director, he is heavily involved in developing company’s strategic direction and ensuring business development team’s full alignment. Aidan has been awarded an MBA from the University of Edinburgh as well as having a BEng in Mechanical Engineering and BSc in Industrial Engineering.

John is Group Engineering Director / COO – Designate, responsible for the overall engineering function within the business, ensuring that the project milestones are achieved and client expectations are met. He has extensive experience in the construction industry and has worked across different sectors including Medical Technology, Life Sciences and Data Centres. John has been awarded a BEng in Mechanical Engineering.

Group Engineering Director - Chief Operations Officer (Designate)
Fergus is Human Resources Director at Kirby Group Engineering. He ensures Kirby has the talent, coordination mechanisms, competence and engagement levels to effectively execute company strategy. Fergus has over 20 years’ experience as a thought and practice leader in Strategic Human Resource Management. He has held Senior HR roles at ESB, been an Executive Director at IMI, as well as Head of the School of Business and Humanities at the National College of Ireland and Teaching Fellow, Trinity College Dublin. Fergus has also been lead consultant in delivering major strategic change and organisational design and executive development for many leading organisations. He has completed Strategic HR programmes at Harvard Business School, Ross School of Business/University of Michigan and is an alumni of IESE Business School (Barcelona).

Mikey is a Director of Operations / Business Unit Leader with responsibility for operations in the Connacht region and the UK. He plays a lead role in the successful delivery of projects and has been centrally involved in key projects in the region particularly in the Pharmaceutical and Life Sciences sectors. He has extensive engineering and project management experience across different sectors including Life Sciences, Industrial Manufacturing and Data Centres. He applies this knowledge and expertise of over 25 years with Kirby’s to assigned projects to ensure operational excellence, client expectations are met and all project milestones are achieved.

Hugh is an Operations Director with responsibility for operations across various regions. Since joining Kirby in 2006, he plays a key role in the successful delivery of projects for a number of key clients. He oversees projects from planning right through to handover and applies his extensive engineering and project management expertise to ensure projects are delivered safely, to the highest standard, on schedule and within budget. Hugh has over 20 years’ experience in delivering projects across different sectors including Data Centres, Life Sciences, Chemical, Semi-Conductor and Industrial Manufacturing.

Pearse is Director of Operations with overall responsibility for operations for a key client in the Nordics region. He plays a key role in the development of long-term partnerships the client and other project stakeholders. He is responsible for the successful delivery of projects in this region, from inception to final handover, and is instrumental in the building of teams to support and deliver these projects. Pearse has over 30 years’ experience in the industry and has worked on some of the largest and most complex engineering projects across different sectors including Data Centres, Industrial Manufacturing, Commercial and Life Sciences.

Martin is responsible for Commercial Operations across the business units in addition to the development and implementation of process throughout the Commercial Function.
He has a wide range of experience and has worked across different sectors including Data Centre, Oil & Gas, Semi-Conductor, Healthcare, Pharmaceutical, Commercial, Manufacturing and Food Industries.
Martin has a Diploma in Electrical & Control Engineering from Dublin Institute of Technology and an MSc in Management & Leadership from Nottingham Trent University.

Sean is the Director responsible for Pre-Construction activities within the group, formerly holding the position of Associate Director. Sean is responsible for the management of the estimation team to produce cost plans, generation of non-commercial requirements through bid stage, post-tender liaison meetings with clients and managing stakeholders. Sean has extensive experience in the M&E sector. Prior to the appointment he previously worked in a number of senior roles within the industry. Sean holds a PG Dip in Project Management, PG Dip in Leadership, PG Dip in Management, PG Dip in Finance, and a Masters Degree in Business

Giedre is a Director responsible for delivering best practices and highest standards of Health, Safety, and Sustainability across all aspects of Kirby’s operations. She oversees the formulation of strategies and leads a team of professionals to ensure the successful implementation of all programs, procedures, and controls throughout the organisation. Giedre has over 13 years of experience in engineering and construction industry, focusing on data centres, life sciences, industrial, power and renewables sectors. Her professional experience is complemented by numerous academic accreditations, including two Masters of Science Degrees, Bachelor’s Degree, Postgraduate Diploma, Diploma in Health and Safety, and Transformational Leadership in Sustainability Programme.

Michael is Director with overall responsibility for the Power and Renewables business. Michael is also responsible for Group Business Development. Working closely with the Chief Executive Officer, he is heavily involved in developing the company’s strategic direction and alignment to the company’s overall business objectives. Michael has been awarded MBA from Technological University Dublin and a BEng degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Ulster.

Barry is an Associate Director responsible for the coordination of Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) management systems to ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards. He works closely with the QEHS & Sustainability Director ensuring all EHS programs, procedures and controls are effectively implemented for Kirby. Barry has over 30 years’ experience working on projects across different sectors including Data Centres, Industrial Manufacturing, Commercial, Power Transmission and Distribution and Life Sciences.

David is an Associate Director with overall responsibility for the Supply Chain Management & Procurement for Kirby. David promotes and implements lean procurement and demand planning processes. He ensures compliance and continuous improvements in the Supply Chain to assist ISO 9001, Q Mark Standards and Achilles requirements.

Associate Director - Supply Chain
Mark is an Associate Director with responsibility for the implementation and promotion of Digital Construction within the company. He provides leadership and development to Digital Construction Department. Mark leads a team of service co-ordinators and BIM engineers implementing an IPD approach to projects through Digital Construction, VDC\BIM and the application of technology. Mark works closely with the construction management team ensuring the delivery of MEP co-ordination and the promotion of offsite fabrication & modularisation on all projects within the group.

Mark is an Associate Director with responsibility for the Business Process Management and Performance Improvement function. Mark holds an honours degree in Chemical and Process Engineering from Munster Technological University and has extensive experience leading large international engineering projects in the oil & gas and power generation sectors. Mark joined Kirby from EY Business Consulting where he spent over 5 years as a Senior Manager, leading major business transformation programmes.

Performance Associate Director
Niall is an Associate Director responsible for the company’s finance function, including financial reporting and tax. He works closely with the Group Finance Director to ensure that adequate systems, controls and risk management practices are implemented throughout the company. Niall has a Bachelor of Business Studies from UL, a Diploma in Leadership from the Irish Management Institute, and a Diploma in Digital Transformation Management from UCD. Niall is also a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).

Ronan is an Associate Director with overall responsibility for leading the Planning & Risk Function, while also being the lead support in Project Delivery Process development and implementation. Ronan is also heavily involved in group wide projects risk management, escalation, intervention and plays a key governance role while providing internal consultancy and support to project teams.

Sean has a strong background in technology and construction. He has a proven record of delivery through project and commercial management across multiple sectors, including major national energy infrastructure projects. Since joining Kirby in 2016, Sean has been working across the group to support operations in areas such as contracts, risk, cost and change control management. Sean is a Chartered Engineer and Fellow of Engineers Ireland and the IET. He was awarded a Diploma in Controls and Electrical Engineering by Dublin Institute of Technology, an Honours Degree in Electrical Engineering by Trinity College Dublin, and a Masters in Engineering Management from University College Dublin.

Stephen is an Associate Director with responsibility for the Power & Renewables Business Unit within Kirby. He plays a lead role in the development and delivery of projects for electricity utilities, renewable energy developers and large demand customers. Working closely with clients to identify and develop solutions for their needs, Stephen builds relationships and ensures the delivery of projects to the highest standards, ensuring clients realise value when working with Kirby. He is responsible for building and developing the teams to support and deliver these projects. A Chartered Engineer, Stephen holds an MBA and a Postgraduate Diploma in Project Management from Trinity College Dublin and a Degree in Electrical Engineering from University College Dublin.
