Kirby employees complete 22,000km as part of a three-week ‘Kirby Steps Challenge’

Kirby employees recently participated in a three-week ‘Kirby Steps Challenge’ as part of the PepTalk employee wellbeing program, which was launched earlier in the year.

The PepTalk application is designed to facilitate a collaborative team environment and provide some useful wellness tools to employees.

The goal of the ‘Kirby Steps Challenge’ competition, which took place during the month of July, was to help Kirby employees build sustainable health and fitness habits.

People were encouraged to get active and the PepTalk platform provided an excellent platform to connect the teams across Europe during these challenging times.

The employees shared 2,500 photos and completed nearly 4,000 courses during the competition.

Using the PepTalk technology, Kirby employees throughout Ireland, the UK and mainland Europe, clocked up an incredible 22,000 kilometres, with Team Switzerland eventually coming out as the winners.

Well done to everyone who took part in this wellbeing initiative!
