Brief Description

Kirby has developed a long standing relationship with Boston Scientific for the delivery of engineering services to the site. We are responsible for all project and maintenance related work across mechanical, electrical and instrumentation disciplines within all areas of the plant.

Working closely with Boston Scientific, we routinely deliver classified cleanroom construction services including technical and support functions within the timescales required by the ever-changing nature of medical device manufacturing.

Principal Contractor Capabilities

Kirby routinely deliver major capital projects to Boston Scientific Corporation as Principal Contractor with total responsibility for project execution.

Recent examples of such projects include:

• 1,000m2 of classified grade C&D R&D cleanrooms split into four modules
• 1MWe cogeneration plant
• European Data Centre
• ‘Wetline’ solvent handling process

We also manage service level agreements on behalf of Boston Scientific for the maintenance of major mechanical and electrical plant and equipment.

We operate continuously on site with a call-out service provided out-of-hours to minimise any disruption to production due to equipment outage or failure.
