PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Kirby was appointed as the main mechanical and electrical contractor for a data centre expansion project in Slough, England.
This project involved the expansion of an existing data centre facility and the introduction of a new switchroom, 27 CRAH units
and 12 PDU’s. Kirby successfully integrated all services in a live environment with no disruption to existing services.
SCOPE OF WORKS
Kirby scope of works included the installation and commissioning
of mechanical and electrical services.

The total project meterage consisted of 7,450m of cable, 5,200m of containment, 28 no. of loops, 114 no. calibrations, 96 no.
I/O points, 1,685m of black utilities pipework, 240m of copper pipework and 220m² of ductwork.
