Brief Description
Kirby undertake all project work for a Confidential Client in their data centre facility in Ireland. The majority of this work involves Kirby acting as Principal Contractor to deliver CSA and M&E fit-out services to new data centre space. We assume overall responsibility for all design works and work with trade partners to install all building and internal works. We specify, install and test all utility equipment including chillers, dry air coolers, electrical boards, UPS systems etc and manage the installation of all associated M&E services.
Understanding Client Needs
Kirby subscribe to the principal of client engagement and driving efficiencies not just through our own business but within client organisations. An example of such an approach relates to Kirby assessing the feasibility of energy technologies such as dry air coolers for use in the data centre and the subsequent design and build of all associated works.
The results of the Kirby approach is an overall reduction in CO2 emissions by 918,000kgs per annum; a reduction in energy consumption equating to 1,723,996kWh per annum; and the related decrease in life cycle cost for plant.
Lasting Relationships
Kirby consistently deliver value, innovation and critical infrastructure without business interruption, which is why our client trusts Kirby to manage all project work within their mission critical facility.
