PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Kirby was appointed to complete the electrical scope of works for a new manufacturing facility at Edwards Lifesciences. The project involved the supply, testing and commissioning of the MV / LV systems, Data, BMS and QMS systems. Early contractor engagement ensured the project was delivered safely and on time. BIM was used to coordinate the full electrical systems. All bracketry, plug and play lighting and GS systems were fabricated off-site.

• Impulse Tubing

The mechanical systems installed by Kirby included:

• Leak Detection
• BMS

Installed equipment and plant items included 2 nr. Transformers, 1 nr. Generator and 10 nr. MDBs.

The total project meterage included 300,000m of cable, 40,000m of containment, 1,500m of impulse piping, 2,800 instruments and loops and 2,000 nr. I/O.
