PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Kirby was responsible for full design and build of all mechanical and electrical services associated with a major new Energy Centre.

A key element of design involved integrating the new utilities with existing site services while ensuring minimal interruption to plant operations while also focusing on design optimisation and value engineering. The construction scope included the installation and commissioning of all mechanical and electrical services.

As well as adding utilities capacity, the Energy Centre also reduced site energy consumption by 20%, through greater effciency derived from GEA’s energy technologies.
