PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Kirby was contracted to undertake the complete mechanical and electrical services fit-out of 10,200m² commercial office space over 7 floors in a Dublin city centre location. The project also involved the fit-out of a 1MW data centre on the 1st floor with integrated systems testing (IST).
There was a strong focus on LEAN construction with two number roof plantrooms pre-fabricated off-site and craned into position at night, which necessitated road closures within the city centre. All services were fully 3D modelled using our in-house BIM department.
The project was completed in 7 months. During this time, the peak manpower reached 165 employees. A rigorous planning and project management approach was adopted to ensure the successful achievement of all project milestones.
