PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Kirby completed the design and build of the HV/LV upgrade at Terumo Aortic medical supplies facility.

This included the design, supply, installation and commissioning of 11kV switchgear, transformers and LV panels.

The project was successfully delivered within a fully operational facility.

SCOPE OF WORKS

The Kirby scope of works included the design and build of the HV/LV upgrade works.

• Earthing and Bonding Build
• Control and Protection System
• MV Cable Connection System Design
• DC Battery Systems
• General and Emergency Lighting
• General Service Power
• Fire Detection and Alarm
• Lightning Protection

Installed plant items included 3 no. distribution boards, 1 no. control and protection panels, 1 no. battery system and 3 no. transformers.

The total project meterage consisted of 4,000m of cable, 30 sets of joints / terminations.
