PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Wyeth Nutrition, an infant and maternal nutrition company which is part of Nestlé, has made an investment at its facility in Limerick as part of the New Card Project.
Kirby was responsible for the mechanical and electrical services for the new production building, administration building and the existing operational plant. A key element of this project was integrating existing site services with minimal disruption to operations.
SCOPE OF WORK
The scope of works included the installation of all electrical and mechanical services.

Installed electrical plant items included 6 number of LV switchgear.
Installed mechanical plant items included 3 number of AHU, 1 number of calorifier, 9 number of fans, 31 number of FCU’s, 2 number of heat exchangers, 5 number of pumps.
The total project meterage consisted of 69,000m of cable, 62,000m of containment, 2,350m of black utilities pipework, 425m of plastic pipework, 800m of copper pipework 1,000m of clean utilities pipework as well as 2,200m² of duct.
